Day 6 of 6
Letter, release & close
The last morning, and the tender payoff for everything that came before. We read, we release, and we finish the journey properly — together.
The feel of the day
Nothing new, only the gathering up
Day 6 opens no fresh ground. It is here to hold what the five days before it built — your letter, the healing statements, the fire pit, and a proper goodbye to a group that has usually become rather fond of each other by now.
How the morning unfolds
Five gentle movements
How far you have come
We open as we always do — an honest number, one to ten — and then return to the Jelly Bean Tree one last time. Set against the bean you chose on Day 1, the distance travelled tends to speak for itself.
The healing statements
Together we work through the Theta list: my inner child is safe, my inner child is lovable, I listen and acknowledge my inner child, we are in perfect harmony. Simple words, said kindly and often, until they begin to settle in as true.
Your letter, read aloud
The homework you took away on Day 5 comes back with you. Those who wish to read from their letter do so, and the room listens. It is the most moving half hour of the whole course — and nobody is ever asked to read.
The fire pit
We go outside to the fire pit and let go of what you no longer need to carry. A small, old ritual, done together in the open air. What you release is entirely your own business.
Certificates and goodbye
How do you feel now, one to ten? We look back over the six months, talk about a check-in day and the Mother Wound work to come, and then certificates of completion are given out. Tea, cake and a proper goodbye.
Afterwards
The journey carries on
Finishing the six days is not the end of the relationship — it is the start of it. Many groups arrange a check-in day, and the Mother Wound work introduced on Day 5 opens into a course of its own for those who want to go further.
